ROTARY DISTRICT 5220 FRIDAY FACTS
Friday Facts, May 19
Friday Facts Last Installment
June 2
Friday Facts will be the last one that I will be doing. I am leaving for
Europe on June 3 and won’t be back until the end of June. DGE Bob Hobbs
will be starting his Friday Facts the first Friday in July. If any club
has a Rotary Pride moment they want to share, send them to me for
inclusion in the last two Friday Facts. Send to
marko5220@yahoo.com
and I will do my best to make sure people know how proud you are.
Brazil Friendship Exchange
Rotarian Ralph Tavares, Riverbank Rotary, is putting together a
friendship exchange with the Sao Paulo – Barra Funda Rotary Club. It is
in the planning stages, and if anybody is interested, they can contact
Ralph at
ralph@rstavares.com
and he can give you more information. District 5220 has had about 200
Rotarians and Interactors involved in international service project and
exchange trips this year.
Lathrop Sunrise Rotary
Acting
President Steve Campbell has advised me that their club has inducted
their 7th new member for the year, the 6th since
January. This club, altho small, did great things in membership
recruitment. The Governor is proud of you.
Sonora Sunrise Rotary
The
ADG for this club has advised me that since our last Friday Facts, the
president made a donation to The Rotary Foundation to bring her club’s
per capita giving above my goal of $130. I am proud of President Sally
Dunn, and Sonora Sunrise Rotary.
