ROTARY
DISTRICT 5220 FRIDAY FACTS
Friday Facts, May 12
District Assembly
All
Presidents-elect, according to the Manual of Procedure, are required to
attend the District Assembly before taking office as Club President. DGE Bob
Hobbs and his committee have put together a great program for this year’s
Assembly. It will be May 20, 2006 at the San Joaquin County Office of
Education off of Arch Rd. near the Stockton Airport. It will start at 7:15
with registration and continental breakfast, followed by general and
breakout sessions. It will close with a luncheon featuring PDG Ivan Cornelis
as our speaker.
One
Millionth Paul Harris Fellow
In a message from
Foundation chairman PRIP Frank Devlyn, he indicates we are just 10,000 away
from reaching our One Millionth Paul Harris Fellow. If you are close, it
would be a good time to complete your Paul Harris Fellowship. Think of the
honor to be singled out as the One Millionth Paul Harris Fellow. If you have
been thinking of adding your spouse, son, daughter, or grandkids, now is the
time to send your checks in to The Rotary Foundation. The Governor would be
proud to have the Millionth in Rotary District 5220.
