ROTARY DISTRICT 5220 FRIDAY FACTS
Friday Facts, April 26/28
District Governor Nominee Designate
It will be my
pleasure to introduce Rotary District 5220 District Governor Nominee
Designate at our opening session of the District Conference on Friday. This
Rotarian will serve as District Governor during the 2008-2009 Rotary year.
Next week’s Friday Facts will carry an article about the selection of our
DGND for those not attending the District Conference.
Digital Cameras
Friday is opening
day for our District Conference, and also the date of our photo contest.
Both for those going on the Yosemite tour and the ones taking the nature
hike. Bring your digital cameras, take pictures to be downloaded by Don
Murphy and shown during the District Conference and judged. Share your
artistic eye with your fellow Rotarians.
Yosemite Tour
For the Rotarians
going to the District Conference, if you have not signed up for the Yosemite
Tour, and would like to go, just put your name in at the registration desk.
We may have a few tickets open up; we will have four buses going into the
Park. It is a five-hour tour with a box lunch. The waterfalls should be
spectacular.
