District Conference Raffle

We are having a “free to attendees” raffle at the District Conference. Name badges will have a number on them, and numbers will be drawn at each event and if the number-holder is present, they win a prize. Clubs are asked to donate a $25 value prize or gift certificate and send to DGN Dick Wyatt, at 3282 Double Tree Way, Madera, CA 93637, or email Dick at wyatt@psnw.com and let him know what the prize is and you will bring to the District Conference.

Rotary in California

There are 16 Districts with clubs in California. There are 741 clubs and 38,563 Rotarians in California. Given the fact we have 37+ million people in California, we certainly have room for growth in Rotary in California.

Speech Contest Finals

Saturday April 8, the student speech contest and the Rotarian speech contest finals will be held in Modesto. Both contests will take place in the county offices at 1010 10^th St., in downtown Modesto. The student contest is at 1:00 PM and the Rotarian contest is at 2:30 PM. The contests will be in the lower level Supervisors Chambers. All Rotarians are welcome to listen to some very bright students and fellow Rotarians.

Club Project Pictures

Each club is asked to send 4X6 pictures of club projects, either community or international. About 10 from each club will be used at the District Conference for table decorations. Send them to Carol Kennedy, 504 Barsotti, Madera, CA 93637.

Presidential Citation

The following clubs have sent me their forms to qualify for the Presidential Citation, and they have been endorsed and sent to RI.
