“Rotary Pride” Foundation Dinner

The date of the change in ticket prices for the Foundation Dinner is fast approaching. The cost is $50 until 20 October, and $60 after, with no refunds after 20 October. Money should be sent to Liz Hosmer, 318 Magnolia Ave., Modesto, CA 95354, email contact is liz@capitoldoor.com, The raffle tickets, which were distributed to each club are good for over 100 prizes, including a cash prize of $1,000. The money collected by sale of raffle tickets is to be sent to The Rotary Foundation, for Paul Harris recognition points in the name of the person who sells them/buys them.

To be safe with the dinner tickets, they will be handed out the night of the dinner, November 4. Don’t miss Trustee Carolyn Jones, our featured speaker, the first female Trustee of The Rotary Foundation. 

 

President’s Social Date Change

ADGs and Club Presidents, please note that the President’s Social has changed from Saturday Dec. 3, to Sunday Dec. 4. More information to follow.

 

Club and District Administration

Jim Damato, Supervisor of this area of Rotary International has advised me that their name has changed to Club and District Support, to reflect their mission of support to Clubs and Districts. Our contacts remain the same with Jim Damato, Charlene Sobczak, and Heather Hartung still handling our area.

 

Manteca Morning Rotary

The club recently completed a successful golf tournament and raised $7,000 to go to the purchase of wheelchairs for Mexico and the local community. In addition, the club is in the process of finishing their centennial project of a plaza in downtown Manteca in partnership with Manteca Rotary. The plaza is to get 4 Rotary benches purchased by Manteca Morning Rotary.
