Programs of The Rotary Foundation are as follows: Polio-Plus, Polio-Plus Partners, Health, Hunger and Humanity (3H) Grants, Matching Grants, District Simplified Grants, Individual Grants, Solidarity in South Asia, Rotary World Peace Scholars, Ambassadorial Scholarships, Rotary Grants for University Teachers, Group Study Exchange (GSE) Loss of a member of the Rotary Family It is with sadness that I report the passing of Past President Joe Munoz of the Manteca Rotary Club. Membership Best Practices Looking for ideas to improve your club membership development strategies? Rotary International hosts the Membership Development Best Practices Exchange located at http://www.rotary.org/membership/resources/practices.html The searchable database contains club and district strategies about recruitment, communication, new member orientation, diversity, public relations, attendance, retention and continuing member education. The Best Practices Exchange is updated regularly and contains many successful ideas. A recent entry under recruitment cites an example from the Rotary Club of Edina, Minnesota. Their club supplies a $75 restaurant certificate each month to the member who proposes the most new members. At the end of the year, the winner is named a Paul Harris Fellow.
