The annual North Stockton Rotary Easter Basket Project for Meals on Wheels, Thursday April 2, 2009, was a huge success. Completed in one hour, (That’s a new record for 1000 baskets), because of a huge turn out of members, family and volunteers, North Stockton Rotary once again has reached out to the community.

A special THANKS to Lance Calkins who organized the event and to Bob Hunefeld who donated the apples and the following NSR members and friends:

Tod and Bobbie Anton, Jim and Joyce Ellis, Ruth and Paul Flowers, Mel and Margaret Hansen, Chris and Billy Hunefeld, Sami and Ryan Khoury, Jeff Larson, Judy Lovett , Margaret Strader and the kids from Commodore Stockton Skills School, Gail Moore with  family and friends, Mark and Emily Ornellas, Mike and Gage McWeeney, Tim Rogan, Bob Williams, F. Frosty Gelbke and  Jim Ruggles.

We prepared the Easter Baskets at 2736 Teepee Dr. Stockton CA (San Joaquin County Human Services).  We secured a refrigerator at the location to keep the baskets fresh. The baskets will be delivered on the 6,7,8,9th of April to the elderly.
