District 5220 Wheelchair Announcement

District 5220 is once again purchasing a container of wheelchairs (280 chairs); this container will be shipped to Peru and in November, 2007, a group of Rotarians for the district will travel to Peru to distribute the wheelchairs.
   
  North Stockton Rotary is contributing $1500 toward the purchase of the container.  This money is available for use as a "matching fund" for club members who would like to contribute a wheelchair (or two or three!).  The cost of a wheelchair is $150.00.  Half of that sum comes from Rotary and the other half from
  the Wheelchair Foundation.  Therefore, if you want to purchase a wheelchair, the cost to you is $75.00 (or $37.50 if you want to avail yourself of the match from the club). 
   
  The gift of mobility to the recipients is one that will touch their lives forever!
   
  Your checks should be made payable to the WHEELCHAIR FOUNDATION. You can either give your check to Frosty or Judy Lovett or you may mail your check to:
